Idea 8: Fishtail Peekaboo Braid
Step-by-Step Guide
The fishtail braid uses two large strands instead of three smaller strands. Small pieces of hair are alternately taken from each side and crossed over to the opposite strand. This creates a fine woven pattern that allows hidden color to appear throughout the braid.
Divide the hair into two large sections. Take a small piece from the outer edge of one section and cross it over to the opposite section. Repeat the process from the other side. Continue this pattern until reaching the end of the hair. The small crossing strands reveal the peekaboo color repeatedly throughout the braid.
